When English Teacher premiered with a special two-episode release last week, initial reception was positive. With a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the show delicately handles contemporary issues, including cancel culture, diverging political opinions, and navigating the complexities of working in the education system.
The series features Brian Jordan Alvarez (who also created the show), Stephanie Koenig, Sean Patton, and Enrico Colantoni ('85), supported by a dynamic ensemble. Colantoni plays Principal Grant Moretti (a departure from the affable Keith Mars or extraterrestrial Mathesar) whose main concern is with keeping disgruntled parents and staff at bay.
Episode three of the show which "always has heart" lands tonight, streamable via Hulu or Disney+.
