“I’m just - I’m overwhelmed. I’m so grateful to be here with all of you. Playing Ruth for the last few years has just been the greatest gift in my life.” Julia has played Ruth Langmore on all four seasons of Netflix’s Ozark. Julia was nominated for her second and third Golden Globes this season. She has been nominated for playing Ruth in 2021 as well as being nominated this year for her role in the Netflix limited series Inventing Anna. This is her first win. Watch her full acceptance speech here.

“I can put this down, right?” If there was an award for the most oddly entertaining acceptance speech there is no doubt it would go to Jennifer Coolidge every time. After setting her Golden Globe for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television” on the floor Ms. Coolidge proceeded to give an emotional acceptance speech in a way only she could. She thanked a few of the producers in the room for keeping her career alive then she turned to White Lotus creator Mike White and praised him both as an artist and a human, ending by saying, “you make people want to live longer. And I didn’t.” This is Coolidge’s second Golden Globe nomination and first win. Watch her full acceptance speech here.

Congratulations to all of our alumni who were either nominated or part of a production that was nominated!
