Academy Collaborations: Lauren Bacall, Edward G. Robinson, and Claire Trevor in 'Key Largo'

Every week we look back at some of our most recognizable and celebrated alumni collaborations in history.


This Thursday we celebrate a movie with three very precious Alumni. Edward G Robinson as Johnny Rocco/Howard Brown, Lauren Bacall as Nora Temple and Claire Trevor as Gay Dawn in the film "Key Largo". Humphrey Bogart also starred in this film, who you can see in the picture as well.


Some fun facts about the film! Claire Trevor won an Academy Award for her supporting role in the movie. Key Largo was also the fourth and final film pairing of actors Bogart and Bacall, after To Have and Have Not (1944), The Big Sleep (1946), and Dark Passage (1947). Lauren Bacall And Humphrey Bogart were also married.
