Actress Jessica Chastain received her first Tony nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play. The nomination honors her work in a new rendition of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, directed by Jamie Lloyd and penned by Amy Herzog. The show has received a total of six Tony nominations.

Congratulations to alumnus and member of The Academy’s Board of Trustees Brian Moreland ('02) for his Tony nomination for Best Revival of a Play as a producer of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson. Moreland previously received Tony nominations for producing Sea Wall/A Life, The Sound Inside, and American Buffalo.
